The Gionee P15 Pro, which was spotted with key specifications on the Google Play Console last month, has launched in Nigeria. The handset houses a huge display with a waterdrop notch.

The P15 Pro features a triple camera system on its back and it houses a huge battery. The handset is driven by a gaming-centric chipset. In addition, it runs on the latest version of Android.

The Gionee P15 Pro features a massive 6.82-inch HD+ display

The Gionee P15 Pro has a 6.82-inch IPS LTPS display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,640 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 84.6 precent. The handset has a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel.

The rectangular camera module has a 13-megapixel main snapper with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel secondary shooter, an AI lens, and a LED flash unit. The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box.

The P15 Pro is equipped with an Helio G35 chipset and 3GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 64GB, and it features a microSD card for additional storage. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery, which offers 4 days of battery life. The device lacks support for fast charging.

For security, the Gionee P15 Pro features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. It offers connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Gionee P15 Pro s priced at NGN 58,900 (~R 10,550). It comes in colours like black and blue. It is unclear whether the company will be launching the P15 Pro in India.
