Smartphone maker Gionee has officially launched the P7 in India. This is the latest smartphone to be added to the P-series lineup after the P7 Max.
The Gionee P7 is smaller in comparison to the P7 Max and has a 5-inch display with HD resolution. As per Gionee‘s website, the screen has Soda Lime protection. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor and has 2GB of RAM onboard.
The P7 has an 8-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with a screen flash. The phone has 16GB of onboard storage which is expandable to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot. Sadly, there is no fingerprint scanner on the phone.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Gionee’s Amigo 3.2 UI on top. The design of the device is similar to the P7 max and has a ripple effect pattern on the back. The P7 is a Dual SIM device and has 2 Micro SIM slots. The phone supports 4G networks and can work on Indian 4G bands. Another addition is the VoLTE support which makes it compatible with Reliance Jio.
The smartphone sports a 2300mAh battery and has a removable back cover. It is still unknown if the battery s removable. The P7 is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available in White, Latte Gold and Gray.
