Gionee S10, the successor to last year’s selfie-focused Gionee S9, is well under way, Chinese certification website TENAA confirms. As far as specs are concerned, the biggest attraction on the Gionee S10 would be its massive 16-megapixel selfie camera located up front.
As for the display, it the Gionee S10 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with the layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on the top. Inside are an octa-core processor ticking at 2GHz, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB).
The phone runs Amigo OS on top of Android 7.0 Nougat software. The rear consists of a 13-megapixel dual camera, accompanying LED flash. Design-wise, the Gionee S10 measures 154 x 76 x 7.6 mm and weighs 176 g.
The Gionee S10 comes in Black and Gold colours and packs in a 3,700mAh battery with fast charging support. It boasts of the standard set of connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
The Gionee S10 is expected to launch in China soon. In other news, Gionee has geared up to unveil the M6s in China later this month.
