At the last year’s developer conference, Google had launched the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL along with Nest Hub Max and other announcements.
This year, the search engine giant is expected to unveil the budget-friendly Pixel 4a as the successor to Pixel 3a. The smartphone will come with toned-down specifications compared to the Pixel 4. According to recent reports, the regular Pixel 4a is rumored to arrive with Snapdragon 730 SoC. On the other hand, Google may announce the Pixel 4a XL variant with Snapdragon 765 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. We expect more details to surface about the devices in coming months.
Apart from the Pixel 4a, Google is also tipped to showcase the Android 11 preview which will be codenamed as Android R until launch. It could also announce updates to the Google Assistant. At the I/O 2020, we also expect the company to debut new Nest hardware products along with updates to its current Nest Hub family. Additionally, Google could also make announcements about its game streaming service called Stadia.
