What is Google Maps timeline?

Google Maps

There is no denying the fact that every app tracks users’ data in one way or the other. Google Maps is no exception to that rule because it regularly keeps a track of places you’ve visited including your local bars, restaurants, beaches, new cities, and even countries. Likewise, Google Maps Timeline is the sum of places and routes you have visited with your Google-enabled devices. This timeline notifies you of details about your travels, and you can even edit, delete, or enable-disable it via the in-app settings.

It literally works on the same concept as Google Photos. You can look back at your memories through images on Google Photos. Google Maps also allows you to look back at the places you have visited within the last 18 months. It is a great way to collect memories and revisit the moments gone by. Video bloggers and travel enthusiasts might find this feature useful, and since everyone loves to travel, it’s a cool feature that reminds you of places you have visited in the past.
