Google Nest Hub, originally called Google Home Hub, is all set to make its India debut next week, according to the latest reports. MySmartPrice, in association with tipster Ishan Agarwal, revealed that the accessory is likely to be introduced in India at a price of Rs 8,999 (~$126). The Nest Hub is Google’s reply to the Amazon Echo Show. The device was launched in October 2018, and is a smaller version of the Nest Hub Max, which was released in May 2019.

The Google Nest Hub features a 7-inch display and a speaker at the back. The device has over 16 million color and light combinations built-in. The Nest Hub runs Google Assistant, which responds to both “Hey Google” and “OK Google” vocal prompts. The assistant can personalise daily schedules, commute, events, reminders, etc. It supports YouTube, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora and other related applications.
The Google Nest Hub is compatible with most of Google’s services like Search, Maps and Photos. It also has two far-field microphones built-in, which allows you to control all smart devices with voice command from a single source. The device has Chromecast built into it, supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. It works with Android, iOS, Chromebook, Mac and Windows. It has an ambient EQ light sensor and a DC power jack.
