The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are no longer available for purchase in markets like the US and Canada. While reports have revealed that Google will not be launching the Pixel 4a XL, the unavailability of the Pixel 3a series suggests that the Pixel 4a’s launch could be around the corner.

However, the arrival of the phone has been considerably delayed, since it was initially expected to go official in May. According to a new report on 9to5Google, a listing for the Pixel 4a appeared on the Google Store in Canada. The listing that has since been taken down revealed an official render of the device, that showcased the front and rear design.

The Google Pixel 4a render shows the phone in a matte black color. It is speculated that the device will be also available in a blue variant. The image suggests that the Pixel 4a will be offering a high screen-to-body ratio as it will be sporting a punch-hole display that is surrounded by slim bezels.

The polycarbonate rear of the Pixel 4a shows that it is fitted a square-shaped camera module and a fingerprint reader. The camera module has a single camera and an LED flash. The right edge of the phone has a blue-colored power button and a volume rocker.

The Google Pixel 4a is expected to feature a 5.81-inch full HD+ display. The OLED panel is speculated to support a conventional refresh rate of 60Hz. As for the cameras, the phone is tipped to feature an 8-megapixel front camera with an 84-degree field-of-view, and a rear facing 12.2-megapixel camera.
The phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 730 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive in 64GB and 128GB storage options. The phone could feature a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support through USB-C.
Rumors suggest that the Pixel 4a could be priced between $300 and $400 (Rs 22,000 – Rs 30,000). Some reports have claimed that the Pixel 4a will launch in July in the US. Now that the device has been spotted on the Google Store, it is likely to go official this month. The Pixel 4a is also expected to arrive in India soon, as it has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
