Coming to the performance, the Pixel 4A is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. The chipset is accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage. The highlight of the device is the stock Android 10 with Android 11 already available.

Lastly, the OnePlus Nord has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and up to 12GB RAM. The smartphone also offers up to 256GB storage. Out of the box, the OnePlus Nord boots OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10.

Google Pixel 4A vs OnePlus Nord vs Samsung Galaxy M51: cameras

In the camera department, the Google Pixel 4A comes across as an underwhelming contender on paper with a single 12.2-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. However, Google’s image processing makes Pixel series smartphones one of the best camera phones in the biz and the Pixel 4A is no exception. The smartphone borrows camera features from the Pixel 4, including the astrophotography mode.

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy M51 has a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro unit. On the front, the smartphone features a much higher resolution 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Lastly, the OnePlus Nord sports a 48-megapixel primary camera backed by 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera with a secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Google Pixel 4A vs OnePlus Nord vs Samsung Galaxy M51: verdict

The OnePlus Nord emerges victorious here with more configurations on offer, powerful performance, and an ultra-smooth 90Hz display. On the other hand, the Galaxy M51 is an ideal device if you are looking for monstrous battery life and higher-resolution cameras.

However, if you are in the market for a compact smartphone featuring stock Android with assured software updates for three years and the best in business camera prowess, Pixel 4A seems like a good option for Rs 29,999.
