Google Pixel 6 was launched at $599, which is roughly Rs 50,000. But now it is available on Amazon India for just Rs 39,999. This deal might sound tempting, but there is a big catch. Here’s why we think you should not get the Pixel 6 from Amazon India.
Why should you not buy the Google Pixel 6?
Google launched its Pixel 6 back in 2021. Unfortunately, the smartphone was not launched in India due to demand and supply issues. According to the Amazon page, the discounted Google Pixel 6 is an imported device. Although the smartphone comes with a seller warranty, it’s important to note that the company does not offer official assistance for the device in India.
As a result, you should shun the Google Pixel 6 and instead choose the latest Google Pixel 7 or 7 Pro, officially released in India in the third quarter of 2022.
Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro Specifications
The Google Pixel 7 flaunts a 6.3-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the 7 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch OLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, both smartphones draw power from the Google Tensor G2 processor. The Google Pixel 7 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage; its big brother comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Regarding the camera, the Google Pixel 7 houses a 50MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup and the 7 Pro houses 50MP + 12MP + 48MP triple rear camera setup. Both devices feature an 11.1MP front camera. The Google Pixel 7 is backed by a 4,700mAh battery, while a 5,000 mAh battery supports the 7 Pro.
