Google Pixel 6 series has been officially teased by the company on its YouTube handle. The 30-second ad taglined ‘For All You Are’ gives us a real look at the upcoming smartphones in people’s hands. Last month, Google had shared rendered images of the Pixel 6 series.
The search engine giant also teased the flagship offerings on its Instagram account. The promo ad and Instagram post mostly focuses on Android 12’s new UI. Google is yet to announce the exact launch date of the Pixel 6 series but they are slated to debut next month.
Google Pixel 6 series revealed in YouTube promo ad
The Pixel 6 ad starts by turning up the volume using Android 12’s new slider UI and asking ‘What if smartphones weren’t just smart?’ The ad showcases the smartphone, mostly its back panel with a unique horizontal camera bridge in people’s hands. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are also seen in different colours including Gold, White, Green/Teal, and Orange.
At the end of the video, the front panel of the upcoming smartphones is shown with a centrally placed punch-hole camera cutout and a slightly thicker bottom chin compared to the other three sides featuring thin bezels. The ad highlights three aspects of the Pixel 6 series i.e. Learning, Evolving and Adapting. It ends with Google’s custom-made Tensor processor.
Apart from the glimpse of the Pixel 6 series phones, the promo ad also largely focuses on Android 12’s Material You theme. The Instagram post also shows each device featuring different wallpapers, clocks, and widgets. If you take a closer look at the clock face, it reveals October 19, Tuesday, hinting at a potential launch date of the flagship smartphones.
Google says that the Pixel 6 series will be unveiled this fall. If past reports are to be true, then the upcoming flagships will debut on October 19th with sales commencing from October 29th.
