Google Pixel 6a retail box has leaked online. Publication Techxine has shared the image of the retail box of the upcoming offering. It reveals only the back panel of the smartphone and the ‘Pixel 6a’ naming on the top.
The Pixel 6a is Google’s upcoming mid-range offering and the successor to last year’s Pixel 5a. The smartphone is widely anticipated to launch at the search giant’s annual I/O Developer conference that begins on May 11th this year.
Google Pixel 6a retail box surfaces online
The alleged image of the Google Pixel 6a retail box reveals the same design as the flagship Pixel 6 phones that were launched in October last year. The device is seen with a horizontal camera bridge housing dual cameras and an LED flash unit. The volume and power rocker buttons are located on the right edge of the device. The phone on the retail box is in Black colour but we can expect more options during the launch.
The Pixel 6a will likely not resemble the Pixel 5a and 4a in terms of design. The leaked renders of the smartphone are also in line with the retail box image.
Apart from the aforementioned details, the retail box doesn’t reveal any additional information about the Pixel 6a. The upcoming offering has been spotted on Geekbench with Google’s custom Tensor processor coupled with 6GB RAM. It will run on Android 12 out of the box. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ flat OLED display with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
The Pixel 6a is tipped to come with a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 main sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX396 ultra-wide lens. The device will reportedly be powered by a 4,800mAh battery unit with support for 30W fast charging.
