Google Pixel 7 series is confirmed to launch in India. A while ago, Google India took to its Twitter handle to share the announcement of the Pixel 7 series. However, the launch date remains a mystery as of now.

Earlier today, reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal spotted the microsite of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro on Flipkart. However, it has now been taken down, but it does indicate that the devices will exclusively be available from the e-commerce platform.  The smartphones along with the Pixel Watch are set to debut globally on October 6th.

Pixel 7 series India launch  confirmed

The Pixel 3 series was the last ever flagship smartphone from Google to launch in India. Their successor Pixel 4, Pixel 5, and Pixel 6 did not arrive in India. Google only continued to launch its mid-range Pixel A smartphones in the country. Additionally, the search giant is launching a flagship smartphone in the country after nearly four long years.

The Google Pixel 7 series availability and pricing in India is expected to be announced at the global event on October 6th. We can also expect the devices to arrive in the country in late October or early November.

Google teased its upcoming Pixel 7 series flagships at its annual I/O developer conference in May this year. The next-generation Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will arrive as the successors to last year’s Pixel 6 series. The upcoming offerings will feature an upgraded design starting with an aluminium horizontal bridge on the back panel housing dual cameras in a pill-shaped cutout and a third lens paired with LED flash outside.

The smartphones will retain a dual-tone finish and come with a premium glass back panel. The Pixel 7 series is confirmed to come with an upgraded Tensor chip so we can expect improvements in terms of performance. The smartphones will also ship with next-gen Android 13 out of the box. The regular and Pro variants will be available in Obsidian and Snow colours as well as a third Lemongrass and Hazel colour respectively.
