Google Pixel 7a key specifications have leaked online. Developer Kuba Wojciechowski dug up the source code and shared information about the smartphone. The Pixel 7a with the codename ‘Lynx’ surfaced on the web last month.
Google introduced the Pixel 6a earlier this year. The smartphone’s main complaint was the lack of a high-refresh-rate display. In the latest report, the Pixel 7a is tipped to come with upgrades. It is expected to debut next year.
Pixel 7a key specifications leaked
The Google Pixel 7a will reportedly feature a 90Hz refresh rate display sourced from Samsung. It will offer Full HD+ resolution. To recall, the Pixel 6a has a 60Hz screen. The upcoming offering is said to retain dual rear cameras. However, the device will pack a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor which is a significant upgrade from the 12MP IMX363 lens in the 6a. The main snapper will be paired with a Sony IMX712 ultra-wide-angle lens. The upgraded cameras mean that the Pixel 7a should offer better photography capabilities. The smartphone is also said to come with support for wireless charging, but it will be limited to 5W.
The source code already revealed the Qualcomm WCN6740 Wi-Fi 6E + BT combo chip for the phone, compared to the Broadcom BCM4389 chip in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series.
The Pixel 7a is expected to debut sometime in the second half of 2023. We will know more details about the smartphone in the coming months.
