Google Pixel Fold display specifications surface online

Google Pixel Fold display specifications have surfaced online. Publication 91Mobiles has learnt the information from developer Kuba Wojciechowski. He had also uncovered the camera configuration of the device last month. 

The Google Pixel Fold is codenamed ‘Felix’. The search giant’s first-ever foldable offering is tipped to debut in the first quarter of 2023 as per DSCC analyst Ross Young. Additionally, Google is said to be working on its first foldable smartphone for over two years now.

Google Pixel Fold display specifications uncovered

As per the developer, the Google Pixel Fold will sport internal and external displays made by Samsung. The internal screen will offer a resolution of 1,840 x 2,208 pixels with peak and average brightness of 1,200 nits and 800 nits respectively. The internal display will also support a high refresh rate but Wojciechowski isn’t sure if it will be a 120Hz panel. The dimensions of the Pixel Fold’s internal screen is 123mm x 148mm. 

As for the Pixel Fold’s camera configuration, it will feature a triple rear setup. The primary sensor is said to be 64MP Sony IMX787 whereas the ultra-wide-angle lens is tipped to be a 12MP IMX386 sensor. The telephoto unit will be an S5K3J1 lens. There is also expected to be an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor on the internal screen. 

The Pixel Fold is rumoured to sport a 7.57-inch internal display and a 5.87-inch outer screen. DSCC analyst Ross Young previously stated that Google will start receiving panel shipments for the device in January
