Google Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a availability details have appeared in tweets released by reliable tipster Jon Prosser. Multiple reports have already leaked the key specifications of the Pixel 7a, which will be a mid-range phone like the Pixel 6a from last year. Even though it will be a low-priced device, it is said to feature the same Tensor G2 chip that powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro flagship phones.
The Pixel Fold will be Google’s first attempt at launching a foldable phone. Recent reports have also leaked the key specifications of the device. The Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a are expected to become official through the Google I/O 2023 developers conference, which will take place on May 10th, 2023.

According to a report by 9to5 Google, the Google Pixel 7a will be priced at $499 (~Rs 40,950) in the US. It means it will cost $50 more as compared to the Pixel 6a from last year. Prosser claims that the Pixel 6a will not be discontinued after the launch of the Pixel 7a.
The publication said that the Pixel 7a would be available for purchase immediately starting May 11th. It will arrive in three colours: Charcoal, Snow (light blue), and Coral (Google Store only). There is no word on the India launch of the Pixel 7a.
Rumours are rife that the Google Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 + 12-megapixel Sony IMX712 dual-camera system on the back. Under the hood, the Pixel 7a will have the Tensor G2 chip, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a large battery that supports 18W wired and 5W wireless charging.

There is no new information on the price of the Pixel Fold. However, according to previous reports, its base model will be priced at $1,799 (~Rs 1,47,600). It will be announced on May 10th and will be available for pre-orders starting that same day via the Google Store. Google’s partnered stores and carriers will start receiving the Pixel Fold pre-orders on May 30th. Its sales will start on June 27th.
According to a previous report, the Pixel Fold will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage options. It may come in shades like Carbon (black) and Porcelain (white or beige). At present, it is unclear whether the Google Pixel Fold will be released in India.
Reports have revealed that the Google Pixel Fold will have a 7.57-inch foldable AMOLED panel and a 5.79-inch AMOLED cover display. The inner screen will offer a 1,480 x 2,208 pixels resolution, and the cover screen will produce a 1,080 x 1,900 pixels resolution. The Pixel Fold is expected to arrive with a Tensor G2 chip and 12GB of RAM.
The Pixel Fold is likely to pack a large battery, which could be sized between 4,400mAh and 5,000mAh. It will have a 9.5-megapixel camera on the cover screen and on the inner display. The back panel of the device is likely to feature a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary camera, a 12-megapixel IMX386 ultra-wide lens and a Samsung S5K3J1 telephoto snapper.
