Google Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a storage variants, colour options, and launch timeframe have been tipped in a new report by Winfuture.de, which cites dealership data as the source. According to the report, both models will get showcased at the Google I/O 2023 event, which will be held on May 10th, 2023.
It is being said that the Google Pixel Fold will be the final marketing name of the company’s first-ever foldable smartphone. The Pixel 7a, on the other hand, will be a mid-range offering. Since the Pixel 6a was released in India, the 7a is also expected to release in the country. However, there is no word on whether the Pixel Fold will be released in India. Here is a look at the storage and colour variants of the Pixel Fold that will be available for buyers in Europe.

Google Pixel Fold
According to the report and popular tipster Max Weinbach’s tweet, the Google Pixel Fold will arrive in 256GB and 512GB storage options. The base model is likely to cost around €1,700 (~Rs 1,50,500). The foldable phone will arrive in two shades, such as Carbon (black or dark grey) and Porcelain (white or beige).
According to rumours, the Pixel Fold will have a 7.57-inch foldable AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,480 x 2,208 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. On the front, it may feature a 5.79-inch cover AMOLED display that offers a 1,080 x 1,900 pixels resolution. It is likely to be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset and 12GB of RAM.
The Pixel Fold is expected to house a 9.5-inch megapixel camera on the front and on the inside. The phone’s back camera setup may have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto Samsung S5K3J1 camera. It is expected to house a large battery that could be sized between 4,400mAh and 5,000mAh.
Google Pixel 7a
The Pixel 7a is expected to have a single trim of 128GB and is likely to cost €500 (~Rs 44,250). The device will come in different shades, such as Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton. The report also states that it may also come in a Jade colourway.
As per the dealership data, the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a are expected to release in June in Europe. Hence, it appears that both devices may be showcased at the forthcoming I/O event.
The Pixel 7a rumours have revealed that it will have a 6.1-inch OLED FHD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. The Tensor G2-powered device is expected to ship with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel (Sony IMX787) + 12-megapixel (Sony IMX712) ultra-wide lens on the back. There is no word on the battery size of the device. However, it is expected to arrive with support for 18W wired charging and 5W wireless charging.
