Google Pixel Watch specifications and features

Beginning with the design, the Pixel Watch comes in a 41mm circular dial. It has a minimalistic design. The smartwatch has a traditional crown on the right side that works similar to the Apple Watch’s digital crown. There is a physical button above the crown and a small cutout below it. The device is water-resistant up to 5 meters. Google is offering the Pixel Watch in a host of interchangeable straps that would offer more customisation to users. The search giant says that the smartwatch’s band system attaches internally like a camera lens to a camera body instead of external lugs.

The Google Pixel Watch sports a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 1,000 nits peak brightness and an always-on feature. The screen is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and it offers customisable watch faces.

On the health-centric front, the Google Pixel Watch is equipped with a continuous heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, and sleep tracker. It also has a BioActive sensor that is capable of measuring ECG and even body fat percentage. The smartwatch features fitness tracking and activity zone minutes. It also comes with Fitbit integration. The wearable device is also equipped with a built-in GPS for outdoor tracking.

Under the hood, the Google Pixel Watch is powered by an Exynos 9110 processor. It packs 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The device is backed by a 294mAh battery unit that is claimed to offer 24 hours of usage. It can be charged via a magnetic charger.

The Google Pixel Watch packs a host of convenient features like receiving calls, messages, emails, controlling Nest Home devices, Google Assistant, NFC support, local music playback, and more. There is also an emergency call feature that lets the user alert their contacts in case of an emergency. The smartwatch runs on WearOS and is compatible with third-party apps.
