Google Pixel Watch has been spotted in leaked renders, thanks to tipster Jon Prosser. The renders give us a first look at the search-engine giant’s first-ever smartwatch.
Google has been long rumoured to launch its smartwatch based on WearOS. The Google Pixel Watch is said to be codenamed ‘Rohan’. The renders shared by Prosser are digital recreations of the original images created by Google.
Google Pixel Watch leaked renders reveal a slim design and WearOS
As seen in the renders, the Google Pixel Watch will have a sleek circular dial than most smartwatches in the market. It will feature a circular bezel-less display where the screen meets the watch case. The wearable device has a physical crown on the right side that is usually seen on analog watches. The renders also reveal a silicone or soft rubber strap in Orange, Grey, Black and Blue colours.
Prosser doesn’t reveal any technical specifications of the Pixel Watch. However, the render images show that the smartwatch will run Google’s WearOS that also powers Fossil watches and the OPPO Watch. The watch interface also appears to have a minimal design. The purported Pixel Watch will be equipped with a heart rate monitor.
Google has been working on its smartwatch for some time now. If the latest development is anything to go by, the Pixel Watch may be nearing a release date. As per the rumour mill, the purported Google Pixel Watch could launch in October this year or alongside the Pixel 6 flagship. We will have to wait and watch for more developments on the Google Pixel Watch.
