On: September 20, 2016

Google is now looking to keep a track of all your travel plans and make your tour planning easier with the help of a new mobile app — Google Trips. It’s a personalized tour guide app, which according to the company reduces the hassle while planning a vacation. The app was launched recently and is available on both iOS and Android platforms.

Sometimes it is complicated to stay organized during a trip and manage multiple things — booking cars / hotels, flights, dinner reservations, and other essential things. Google Trips is promising to keep it all together, including a series of categories like things to do, saved places, day plans, food & drink, getting around, etc. This is how Google Trips will make things easier for you in case you are finding it difficult to stay organized.

The entire app seamlessly works offline. All you need to do is tap the “Download” button under each trip to access whatever you have planned, without connecting to the Internet. Google Trips offers a variety of day plans and itineraries to choose from. The app also showcases some of the popular places, based on trips done by other users in the past.

Google Trips keeps track of all your travel reservation by pulling out travel receipts and other essential data from your Gmail account. This is how Google is always aware of all your travel plans, flight details, hotel bookings, etc. Next time if you are planning a vacation, Google Trips might be a handy option to organize your trips
