Haier has announced a new range of single-door Direct Cool refrigerators in India. There are multiple variants in the line-up, namely HRD-1923-E, HRD-1922-E, HRD-1712-E, and HRD-1822-E. They have been launched in glass, floral and steel finishes, and claim to be budget-friendly and spacious enough for Indian users. Samsung has also announced its 2020 refrigerator line-up that includes the Curd Maestro, the first Indian refrigerator that can prepare curd. Let’s look at the Haier line-up in some detail.
Haier single door Direct Cool refrigerators: specifications and features
All the models in the new range are stabilizer-free offerings with Diamond Edge Freezing technology and PUF insulation. With the help of the said technology, the models can provide better cooling retention while saving electricity, claims the brand. A bright LED light is also included in the package to keep the refrigerator well illuminated inside. The inner edges of the Haier Direct Cool models are diamond-shaped which Haier claims can provides enhanced cooling retention during power-cuts.
A few models in the range also feature a base stand drawer to store non perishable food items, while all the models can store 8 1-litre bottles in the door racks. The models are further equipped with an environment-friendly gas and feature 2-star and 3-star energy ratings. The new line-up also houses a removable gasket that prevents the growth of pathogens inside the appliance, says Haier. The range has been launched in various storage capacities of 171 litres, 182 litres and 192 litres. All the offerings play host to toughened glass shelves which are durable and can withstand heavy loads.
Haier single door Direct Cool refrigerators: price in India
The single-door Direct Cool line-up by Haier is now available for purchase. The glass range is priced between Rs 17,800 and Rs 19,200, while the floral range starts from Rs 13,600 and goes up to Rs 18,000.
