Honor 10 Lite gets Android 10 update in India

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has quietly released the Android 10 update for the Honor 10 Lite smartphone in India. One of the bestselling Honor phones is receiving the Android 10 update over the air in phases, so not everyone will get it right away. This is a heavy update that tips the scales at a whopping 3.56GB. The Honor 10 Lite Android 10 update carries the build number EMUI (C675E17R1P3). You will receive a notification on your handset as soon as the update arrives. You can manually check if the new firmware is available by going to Settings > System > Software update > Check for updates > Download and install.

Apart from the aforementioned method, you can also use the HiCare app on your Honor 10 Lite and go to Me Section > Settings > Check for updates. According to the changelog, the update brings new animations, the much-anticipated dark mode, improved user interface, magazine-style lock screen, and more. The new firmware offers new capabilities related to multi-screen functionality. This allows the handset to seamlessly communicate with other electronic items like drones, TVs, smartwatches, and more. In addition, the update brings Huawei’s Android auto replacement called the HiCar.
