Honor 60 series has been launched in China. It has arrived as the successor to the Honor 50 lineup, which debuted in June in the home market. The Honor 60 Pro has gone official today as the world’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus, which is an updated version of the Snapdragon 778G.

The Honor 60 duo sport a premium design with the vanilla model featuring a curved edge display whereas the screen of the Pro model is curved from all four sides. They have an identical rear design. Honor 60 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G

The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro feature an OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Honor 60 has a 6.67-inch display, whereas the Pro model gets a larger 6.78-inch screen. Both phones come preinstalled with Android 11, which is overlaid with Magic UI 5.0.

The Honor 60 has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and its back panel features a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel camera for depth shots. The Honor 60 Pro flaunts a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera module comprises a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor that doubles up as a macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The front and rear cameras of the Honor 60 Pro carries support for 4K video shooting.

Both phones offer 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB / 256GB of built-in storage. The Honor 60 has a 4,800mAh battery while the Pro model packs in a 4,500mAh battery. Both handsets carry support for 66W fast charging. To recollect, the Honor 50 Pro had a smaller 4,000mAh battery, but blazing fast 100W fast charging support.

On the other Honor 60 Pro comes in two choices such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. They are priced at RMB 3,699 (~Rs 43,500) and RMB 3,999 (~Rs 47,000). The first sale of the Honor 60 will be carried on December 10th in China. The Honor 60 duo comes in colors such as black, blue, green, and juliet.
