Honor 8C And Honor Band 4 Launched In India: Price, Specifications and Availability

The Honor 8C was announced in China in October 2018 as the successor to last year’s Honor 7C. Now Huawei’s sub-brand has launched the Honor 8C in India. Alongside, the Honor Band 4 has also been announced. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications of both devices:

Honor 8C:

The display on Honor 8C measures 6.26-inches. It bears a HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Design-wise, there is a notch on the top and the bottom bezel has Honor branding. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the phone. The Honor 8C is available in Black, and Blue color options

The Honor 8C features an AI-enabled dual rear camera module. It consists of a 13MP primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The device is fitted with an 8MP shooter on the front for clicking selfies and video calling.

On the hardware front, the Honor 8C is the first phone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. It packs 4GB RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU onboard. The device is available in 32GB and 64GB storage options. It is expandable up to 256GB via dedicated slot for microSD card.

The Honor 8C is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The device runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.  Connectivity-wise, the Honor 8C offers all the conventional options like 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Honor Band 4:

The Honor Band 4 was introduced in China back in September 2018. It comes with upgraded specifications and features over the Band 3. It will be a direct competitor to the recently launched Xiaomi Mi Band 3.

The device sports a 0.95-inch OLED display with 2.5D curved glass. It is available in Blue, Black and Pink colour options. The Band 4 is water resistant up to 50 meters. Like most fitness trackers, this band also comes with host of features like a pedometer, sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring. Additionally, the Honor Band 4 also displays notifications like incoming calls, email, and messages from a connected smartphone. The device is equipped with Bluetooth v4.2. The Honor Band 4 is backed by a 100mAh battery which the company claims offers a 20-day standby time.  

Pricing & Availability:

Starting with the Honor 8C, the 4GB/32GB variant has been priced at Rs 11,999. The higher storage variant i.e. 64GB will retail at Rs.12,999. The device is Amazon exclusive and will go on sale from December 10. Jio users can avail benefits worth Rs 4,450 and 100GB 4G data on purchasing the device. 

The price and availability details of Honor Band 4 have not been revealed yet.
