Honor launched a budget smartphone called the Honor 8S in Russia back in April 2019. The same smartphone was re-branded as the Honor Play 8 and launched in China with an identical spec sheet. It seems that the brand is not yet done with the affordable offering, as it has now been launched in the UK with a new moniker, the Honor 8S 2020. Notably, the original Honor 8S was also launched in the UK previously.
The latest launch comes with the same set of specifications as the Honor 8S, but offers more RAM and storage compared to the original model. Additionally, the phone also comes with Google Mobile Services, since it is a rebranded older device.
