Honor 8s With Waterdrop Notch And Helio A22 Processor Goes Official

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched a new budget smartphone in Russia. The device is dubbed as Honor 8S and comes with decent specifications. Let’s take a look below:

Technical Specifications:

The Honor 8S features a 5.71-inch display bearing HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the top. Design-wise, there is an Honor branding on the bottom chin of the device. The smartphone doesn’t come with a physical fingerprint scanner. The Honor 8S can be availed in three colour options – Gold, Black and Blue.

The Honor 8S is equipped with a single 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP snapper on the front. The device offers face unlocking through the front camera for security purposes.

On the hardware front, the Honor 8S is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is coupled with 2GB RAM and offers 32GB internal memory. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The Honor 8S is backed by a 3,020mAh battery unit. It runs EMUI 9 based on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Pricing & Availability:

The Honor 8S has been launched in Russia at a price tag of 8,490 Russian Ruble (roughly Rs 9,220). Buyers can purchase the device on Honor’s Russia’s official site starting April 26th.
