Honor 9X Lite alleged promotional banner reveals 48MP dual rear cameras and more

On: February 10, 2020

Last year, Honor introduced its latest X series offering called the Honor 9X in China and launched the handset in India a few weeks ago. The company is now planning to launch yet another offering in the series, which is rumoured to arrive as the Honor 9X Lite. The phone was recently certified by the Google Play Console. Now, a promotional poster of the Honor 9X Lite has surfaced on the interwebs. The leaked image has revealed a few details regarding the design and camera specifications of the Honor 9X Lite. The handset will arrive as an affordable variant of the Honor 9X.

Honor 9X Lite will be a budget offering with 48MP dual rear cameras

As you can see in the image above, the Honor 9X will come with a dual primary camera setup on the back. The main sensor will be a 48MP AI-Powered camera, while the other shooter could be a depth sensor. The dual cameras will be placed inside a rectangular housing, which will be located on the top-left corner. In the middle towards the top, the handset will have a physical fingerprint sensor. The photo shows that the device will come in green with a glass back. Honor will be marketing the Honor 9X Lite as the “XTRAORDINARY PHOTOGRAPHER”, suggests the promotional poster.

Talking about the specifications, not much is known about the Honor 9X Lite. However, we can expect it to be powered either by the Kirin 710 or Kirin 710F processor, much like the other budget phones from the brand. We expect the device to either feature a waterdrop notch above the screen or a punch-hole design to house a single selfie camera. No other details about the device are available at the moment.

As for the recently launched Honor 9X, the handset has arrived as an affordable phone with a pop-up selfie camera, a full-screen design, and a triple primary camera module on the back. The handset is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant, while the 6GB RAM model is being offered for Rs 16,999. The phone is available on Flipkart in Sapphire Blue or Midnight Black colour variants.
