Honor Band 4 with AMOLED display and heart rate monitor launched for Rs 2,599

During the launch of the Honor 8C in India, Honor had also announced the Honor Band 4 fitness tracker. However, the pricing and release date of the fitness band was not confirmed. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has revealed that the Honor Band 4 will be selling in India for Rs 2,599.

The Honor Band 4 will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting from tomorrow. It has arrived as the successor to the Honor Band 3 that was launched at a higher price of Rs 2,799 in July 2017. The Honor Band 4 will be rivaling the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 that is selling for Rs 1,999 in India. The sales of the Honor Band 4 will begin at 12pm on Amazon India from December 18th. It can be availed in a variety of colours such as Meteorite Black, Midnight Navy and Dahlia Pink.

The Honor Band 4 is fitted with a 0.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 2.5D glass. It is a colour display that features a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels. The fitness band carries support for gesture-based navigation.

The Band 4 is equipped with TruSleep monitoring technology can precisely monitor REM periods for accurately tracking sleep patterns. It also offers more than 200 suggestions for sleep improvement. The TruSeen heart rate technology available on the Honor Band 4 can continuously track heart rate in real-time for 24 hours. It also supports night infrared heart rate tracking and notify you of heart rate warnings.

The Honor Band 4 is a 50 ATM water-resistant device that can survive in up to 50 metres of water. The 6-axis sensor can detect swim strokes, record swimming speed, distance covered, and calories burnt. The Band 4 can be used for answering and rejecting phone calls and checking notifications. The 100mAh battery of the device makes it possible to last for up to 17 days by charging it once.

The Honor Band 4 can be paired with Android devices running Android 4.4 or higher and iOS 9 devices running iOS 9.0 or higher. For checking health data recorded by the Band 4 on a smartphone, one can make us of the Huawei Health app.
