Honor has launched the 2019 iteration of its MagicBook laptop today. The gadget is a successor to the Honor MagicBook 2018 and has been released along with the Honor 20i smartphone in China. The new laptop boasts an AMD processor, 10-hour battery backup and 8GB of RAM.
Honor MagicBook 2019: specifications and features
The Honor MagicBook 2019 carries a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The display is surrounded by minimum bezels and the laptop has a three-sided metal body design. The laptop comes powered by the AMD Ruilong 7 3700U processor and Vega 10 GPU for optimum performance. The laptop has been launched in two variants – 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage. It is worth noting that the predecessor of this laptop was launched with the Intel Core i7 processor.
The Honor MagicBook 2019 is also equipped with a powerful 57.4Wh battery which can last for 10 hours on a single charge. the device features a fingerprint sensor cum power button for logging in safely. In terms of connectivity, the laptop has a USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone jack. The laptop comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 and Magic-link 2.0 to transfer files conveniently.
Honor MagicBook 2019: price and availability
The laptop has been priced at RMB 3,999 (Rs 42,000 approx) for the smaller variant. It will cost RMB 4,999 (Rs 44,500 approx) for the 512GB storage variant. The Honor MagicBook will be available in two shades – Glacier Silver and Starry Sky. It will go on sale from April 18th on the official website and selected online stores.
