Honor MagicWatch 2 goes official with Kirin A1 and 14-day battery life

The 46mm dial variant of the MagicWatch 2 is better suited for people with larger wrists, while the 42mm dial sports a bolder chronograph design. The MagicWatch 2 is very similar to the Huawei Watch GT2 in terms of aesthetics and basic functionality. The MagicWatch 2 features a unique design, as the dual button layout on the right points away from the crown, increasing the comfort level for the wearer.

Honor promises up to 14 days of use on a single charge for the 46mm variant. The MagicWatch 2 features a heart rate sensor with 15 different tracking modes for swimming and an array of guided running courses on the street or treadmill. The watch comes equipped with Honor’s TruSleep 2.0 technology and is designed to alert the wearer in case the heart rate or stress levels increase.

The device has a built-in speaker and microphone allowing users to receive phone calls on the go. Users can synchronise the watch with Honor’s mobile application to unlock the additional features. The MagicWatch 2 can pair two Bluetooth devices simultaneously allowing users to connect wireless earphones and a smartphone at the same time.

The 42mm MagicWatch 2 flaunts a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. The 46mm variant flaunts a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The watches weigh 29g and 41g respectively. Unlike its bigger sibling, the battery backup on the 42mm variant is only seven days. Both devices are powered by a Huawei Kirin A1 SoC with 2GB of native storage.
