Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had launched the Honor 30S in China recently. Now the brand is set to announce new smartphones in the Honor Play series on April 9th. The devices will be dubbed as the Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro. Previously, the smartphones were spotted on TENNA listing revealing a few specifications. Now the complete specifications of the standard and Pro variants of the upcoming Honor Play 4T have been leaked by tipster Ishan Agarwal. Both devices share most of the specifications but are different in terms of design and display. Let’s take a look below.
Honor Play 4T and 4T Pro specifications and features
The standard Honor Play 4T offers 6.4-inch IPS LCD display bearing HD+ resolution. The device features a punch-hole camera cutout in the top left corner. The back panel is home to the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the Pro variant comes with an FHD+ OLED display measuring 6.3-inches and a waterdrop notch on the top. The smartphone will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The back of the Honor Play 4T houses a rectangular camera setup. Both devices are confirmed to come with a 48MP main camera. The vanilla variant will have a 2MP secondary sensor while the Pro model will feature 8MP and 2MP cameras. On the front, the former will be fitted with an 8MP selfie shooter while the latter will have a 16MP sensor.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 4T series is confirmed to be powered by a Kirin 810 processor. The standard Play 4T will be offered in a 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage option, while the Pro model will be available in a 8GB + 128B configuration. Both smartphones will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit and run on Magic UI 3.0 with open-source Android 10. The Honor Play 4T series will be available in Black, Green and Blue gradient colours.
