Honor is reportedly gearing up to launch yet another dual camera smartphone — dubbed Honor V9 — this month. The company has scheduled a launch to be held on February 21. Reports also suggest that the Honor V9 was certified in China last month as Honor DUK TL-30. More about it, here. If these ongoing gossips are to believe, the phone will soon come alive as the successor to last year’s Honor V8. While it happens sooner or later, let’s take a look at its specifications.
If the Honor V9 is indeed the Honor DUK TL-30, this is what the listing on a certification website TENAA suggests: The smartphone boasts of high-end flagship specifications. It flaunts a bigger 5.7-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD (QHD) resolution. It packs Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core chip clocked at 2.4GHz, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB using microSD card).
Furthermore, the Honor V9 bundles two SIM cards in Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.0 on top. It has a 12MP rear snapper alongside a 2MP secondary camera and LED flash. For selfies, there is a dedicated 8MP shooter up front. It also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, sitting right below the dual-camera module. The device is based on a 3900mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
More details are expected to be revealed close to February 21. The Honor V9 is planned for Gold colour at 2699 Yuan, which converts at around Rs 26,450. In other news, Honor recently launched the Honor 6X in India featuring Dual Camera. It comes in two variants — 3GB for and 4GB RAM.
