Honor today introduced yet another dual camera phone dubbed Honor V9 in China, as expected. The device was spotted on a certification website TENAA last month with a model name Honor DUK TL-30. The Honor V9 is a successor to the previous year’s Honor V8. Last year, the company introduced Honor 8 in featuring a dual camera. Later on, Honor also launched the Honor 6X in India.
As far as specs of the Honor V9 are concerned, it sports a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD resolution. Powering it is Huawei’s HiSlicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It comes in three variants — 4GB RAM with 64GB, 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The memory, however, is expandable further up to 128GB through microSD support.
The Dual-SIM Honor V9 has the most recent Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5 on top. In terms aesthetics, the Honor V9 measure 157 mm × 77.5 mm × 6.97 mm and weighs 184 g, which falls on the heavier side. It features a 12MP rear snapper as well as an 8MP front snapper. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device. It packs a massive 4000mAh battery under the hood in addition to connectivity options, i.e., 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Honor V9 costs 2599 Yuan (approx. Rs 25,300) for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 2999 Yuan (approx. Rs 25,195) for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 3499 Yuan (approx. Rs 34,060) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. The phone comes in Blue, Gold, Black, and Red colour options.
