Huawei sub-brand Honor launched the Honor V20 in China last week. The Honor V20 happens to be the company’s first smartphone to feature a punch-hole display as well as a 48MP rear camera. Honor is set to launch the global variant of the smartphone at an event in Paris, France on January 22. Ahead of the event, our trusted source has confirmed the European pricing of the Honor View 20 as well as the Honor Watch Magic.
Honor View 20, Honor Watch Magic European Pricing
The Honor View 20 will be available in two memory configurations in Europe: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. According to our source, the 6GB RAM variant will be priced between EUR 549 and 569 in most European markets. The 8GB RAM variant, on the other hand, will be priced between EUR 649 and 699. While the 6GB RAM variant of the handset will be available in Phantom Blue, the 8GB RAM variant will come in Sapphire Blue and Black color options. Honor will be bundling an Honor Watch Magic smartwatch along with the Honor View 20 in Europe. When purchased separately, the smartwatch will cost EUR 179.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Honor View 20 will be identical to the Honor V20. It will feature a large 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole display offering 1080 x 2310 Full HD+ resolution and an impressive 91.8% screen-to-body ratio. It will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 980 processor, the same chipset that powers the Huawei Mate 20 series as well as the Honor Magic 2. In the camera department, Honor View 20 will feature a 48MP primary rear camera clubbed with a TOF 3D stereo camera. On the front will be a 25MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and various AI-assisted features. Keeping the lights on will be a 4000mAh non-removable battery with 22.5W fast charging support. In terms of software, Honor View 20 will launch with Android 9.0 Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 running on top.
