Honor View30 Pro and Honor 9X Pro global editions unveiled without Google services

Through an online livestream event, Honor unveiled several devices including the Honor View30, Honor 9X Pro, Honor MagicBook 14 and 15.6 editions, Honor MagicWatch 2 and Honor Magic Earbuds for its international audience. This story covers the specifications and pricing of the Honor View30 and Honor 9X Pro smartphones. The Honor View30 is a global version of the Honor V30 Pro that was unveiled in November last year in China. The Honor 9X Pro is an international of the same phone that was unveiled in China in July last year. Both phones come with Huawei’s own Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) which serves as an alternate in the absence of Google Mobile Services (GMS).

Honor View30 Pro specifications and price

The Honor View30 has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a pill-shaped punch-hole that houses a primary selfie lens of 32-megapixel and a ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel. The Kirin 990 5G chipset is present under the hood of the device. The smartphone is packed with a 4,100mAh battery that offers 40W wired charging, 27W rapid wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

The View30 Pro has 8GB of RAM. It can be availed in 128GB and 256GB storage models. There is no microSD card slot on the device. The other features of the phone include side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC and IR blaster. The handset lacks a 3.5mm audio jack. The Honor View30 Pro will be coming to Russia and some other countries starting March. Price has not been announced yet.

Honor 9X Pro specifications and price

The Honor 9X Pro comes with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The notch-less screen offers a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The 7nm Kirin 810 chipset that includes a dedicated NPU unit powers the Honor 9X Pro smartphone. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage.

There is a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera on the Honor 9X Pro. Its rear features a triple camera system with a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 4,000mAh battery and a side-facing fingerprint reader. Countries like the Netherlands, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Malaysia will be receiving the handset with a pricing of €249 (~Rs 19,400) in March this year.
