Last month at the IFA trade show, Honor had launched two smartwatches called Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES. Now the Huawei sub-brand is set to introduce the two wearables in India on October 8th at 12pm.
The Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES are listed on Flipkart and Amazon respectively. This confirms that the former will be available on Flipkart while the latter is Amazon-exclusive. Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES specifications and features
The Honor Watch GS Pro is a rugged smartwatch with military-grade MIL-STD 810G certification. The smartwatch features a circular AMOLED display measuring 1.39-inches. On the other hand, the Honor Watch ES sports a 1.64-inch rectangular AMOLED screen
The Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES are powered by a Kirin A1 processor and run on LiteOS. Both smartwatches are equipped with a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep and stress tracking. The wearable devices offer support for 95 workout modes. The Honor Watch GS Pro packs a built-in GPS and comes with dedicated features like tide condition, bad weather alerts, hike navigation etc for outdoor enthusiasts.
Compared to the Honor Watch ES, the Watch GS Pro is also equipped with an inbuilt speaker and microphone for hands-free calling. The smartwatch also packs 4GB RAM onboard for storing music. Both the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES ship with common convenience-related features like notification display, music control playback and more.
The Honor Watch GS Pro is claimed to offer a 25-day battery life while the Watch ES is capable of lasting up to 10 days on a single charge. Honor claims that the latter can be topped up to 70 percent in 30 minutes of charging.
Honor Watch GS Pro and Honor Watch ES pricing and availability
The Honor Watch GS Pro costs €250 (~Rs 21,700) while the Watch ES retails at €100 (~Rs 8,700) in Europe. We expect the smartwatches to be priced lower in India.
