  2. Type Command Prompt and hit enter
  3. Click on the first option in the search result
  4. Type “java-version” without the quotes into the Command Prompt window
  5. Press enter on your keyboard
  6. After a few moments, Command prompt will show all information about Java installed on your computer including the version number

In case your computer doesn’t show any result, it means that your computer doesn’t have Java installed. In this scenario, you can simply head to the official website of Java and download the package for your computer.
