Amazon is rolling out its updated Fire TV interface called the “All-New Fire TV Experience”, which is touted to be the biggest Fire TV update so far. The new interface brings multiple user-profiles and Alexa voice profiles to Fire TV devices. The update will roll out to the third-generation Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick Lite in the coming weeks, while other Fire TV devices will get it in early 2021.
The latest Fire TV update allows users to set up to six user profiles as well as Alexa voice profiles. The latter can recognise the users’ voice and switch to their profiles. Apart from these, there’s a redesigned home screen, a new Find tab, and Alexa Explore, among others. Let’s take a look at how to create users profiles, set up Alexa voice profiles and new features of the redesigned interface.

All-new Fire TV Stick Experience: new features
The new Fire TV Experience update brings a re-designed home screen curated to each user’s viewing preferences and recommendations from OTT apps. The content recommendation is shown in the ‘Popular Movies & TV Shows’ row and will improve based on the user’s viewing history.
Amazon has also introduced a new ‘Find’ tab, which is placed between the ‘Home’ and ‘Live’ tab. This tab simplifies searching of content. The tab can filter content based on categories like movies, shows, comedy, action, and adventure, among others. Users can also find paid or free content to watch using the find tab.
Other features introduced by the new update include improved Alexa navigation, Live TV and Library. The Library tab is located in the main menu bar and shows the watchlist of the user.
