HP has launched a range of gaming laptops at an event held in New Delhi today. The company has brought the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop to India, dubbed as the Omen X 2S 15. The other two devices are the Omen 15 and Pavilion Gaming 15 gaming notebooks. Additionally, HP has also launched gaming accessories. Let’s take a look below:

HP Omen X 2S 15

HP Omen X 2S 15 and Omen 15:
The HP Omen X 2S 15 and Omen 15 are high-end gaming laptops. Both the devices sport 15.6-inch displays bearing a full HD resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. On the audio front, the Omen X 2S 15 and Omen 15 come with dual custom-tuned stereo speakers from Bang & Olufsen. Design-wise, the laptops flaunt an all-Black metal chassis and measure 2.38kg on the weighing scale. The only difference between the two machines is that the Omen 15 comes with a conventional RGB backlit keyboard layout and no second screen.
The striking feature of the Omen X 2S 15 is the 6-inch secondary screen located above the keyboard. The display offers touch functionality with full HD resolution. HP says that the second screen can be used to message friends, browse Spotify, watch Twitch and YouTube, etc. The device also comes with a screen mirroring feature that can cut and magnify parts of the main screen – including copying the map portion of a racing game – to the second screen, ensuring the vision is centered and head movement more vertical than horizontal. The keyboard is backlit and offers the option to customise the colours and lights. The touchpad on Omen X 2S 15 is also positioned on the right side.

HP Omen 15
Both the Omen laptops are powered by up to the latest 9th Gen Intel Core i9 chipset coupled with up to 16GB RAM. The machines are equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU based on Max-Q architecture. The laptops also come with an applied liquid metal compound to the thermal system called ‘OMEN Tempest’ to keep things ultra-cool. The Omen laptops feature new Intel Wi-Fi 6 designed to support gigabit speeds up the wireless game with up to 3X faster file transfer speeds than Wi-Fi 5.
On the connectivity front, both the laptops are equipped with 3 USB 3.1 Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0, Mini DisplayPort, Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Pavilion Gaming 15:
The HP Pavilion Gaming 15 is a gaming laptop with a thin frame. The device comes with hardware improvements that include up to the latest 9th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processors. The laptop features up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU with Max-Q design.
Pricing & Availability:
The HP Omen X 2S 15 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 2,09,990 and will be available for purchase on July 1st via HP.com and other retailers. Both the Omen 15 and Pavilion Gaming 15 laptops are available now for a starting price of Rs 1,24,990 and Rs 70,990 respectively.
HP has also announced OMEN Photon Wireless Mouse with 11 customisable buttons, 2.4GHz proactive wireless technology, and up to 50 hours battery life. The Omen Outpost Mousepad is constructed with Qi wireless charging capabilities that can charge the Omen Photon Mouse fully in 2.5 hours. The former is priced at Rs 8,499 while the latter is available at Rs 7,999.
The Pavilion Gaming Headset 400 and Gaming Mouse 300 were also launched, priced at Rs 1,999 and Rs 1,799 respectively.
