MWC 2017: HP Pro x2 Hybrid Laptop with 8GB RAM Unveiled

HP officially unveiled a new hybrid laptop dubbed HP Pro x2 612 G2 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona. The device runs Windows 10 operating system and weighs merely 1.2 kg, which certainly makes it fall under the lightweight category. It comes bundled with a travel keyboard as well as a battery that is claimed to last up to 11 hours.

In terms of specifications of the HP Pro x2 612 G2, the laptop has a 12-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by Intel Pentium / Cor M3 / i5 / i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 615. Inside is also a 512GB SSD for storage.

On the connectivity front, the HP x2 612 G2 features the set of options like 1 x USB Type-C port, 1 x USB 3.0 port, headphone jack, and SIM card slot. HP also packs a Wacom stylus to assist users taking notes or designing. Users can make use of the stylus in order to interact with the screen directly.

Furthermore, the HP Pro x2 612 G2 is MIL-STD 810G rated for protecting itself against dust, functional shock, temperature changes, humidity, and drops. HP also bundles accessories, i.e., USB-C dock and a rugged case. The laptop comes at a starting price of $979 (approximately Rs 65,320).
