Taiwanese consumer electronics company has at last launched the HTC 10 evo in India. The phone is already up for sale on the HTC India E-Store portal at Rs Rs 48,990. It comes in Pearl Gold and Cast iron colour options. To recall, the HTC 10 evo was announced in India back in November along with the HTC Desire 10 Pro. Back in September last year, HTC also launched the Desire 10 Lifestyle in India.
Talking about the HTC 10 evo, it is missing onto the 3.5mm audio jack. Instead of that, it comes with USB Type-C audio. The device is based on HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio that adjusts the audio output depending on surroundings. It measures 153.6 mm in height, 77.3 mm in width, and 8.1 mm in thickness. That aside, the metal body of the HTC 10 evo weighs 174 grams.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the HTC 10 evo sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD display featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection layered on top. Powering this phone is a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU, 3GB RAM, and Adreno 430 GPU. The 32GB of built-in memory of the smartphone is expandable with the help of microSD. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based HTC Sense UI.
On the camera front, the HTC 10 evo houses a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, OIS, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. It also supports 4K as well as slow-mo video recording at 120fps. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device is IP57 certified water-resistant, featuring a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also packs a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
The connectivity options on the HTC 10 evo include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC.
