HTC Wildfire R70 with waterdrop notch and triple rear cameras launched

Taiwanese brand HTC has been mostly in the smartphone market. The company had launched the Wildfire X in India in August 2019. Now, HTC has introduced a new smartphone in the Wildfire lineup. The latest offering is called as HTC Wildfire R70. The device packs decent specifications including triple rear cameras and gradient design. Let’s take a look at what the device has in store for us:

HTC Wildfire R70 specifications and features

The HTC Wildfire R70 offers a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the top. There is a thick bezel at the bottom chin of the device. The Wildfire R70 features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone can be availed in Aurora Blue and Night Black gradient colour options. The back panel of the phone houses a triple camera setup at the top left corner. It consists of a 16MP main sensor with f/1.75 aperture accompanied by two 2MP macro and depth sensors. Up front, the device is fitted with an 8MP selfie snapper. The smartphone comes with features like pro mode, macro mode, HDR, beauty mode, portrait mode and AR stickers. 

In terms of hardware, the HTC Wildfire R70 is equipped with a Helio P23 chipset paired with 2GB RAM. The device offers 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for standard 10W charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. 

Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack.
