HTC has announced the Wildfire X in India, it’s first launch in the country since the Desire 12 that was launched over a year ago. The Wildfire X comes with a triple camera setup, impressive design and an affordable starting price.
HTC Wildfire X Specifications
The HTC Wildfire X that features a rear panel with a mirror finish, and a thickness of 7.95mm. The handset houses a 6.22-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It sports HD+ resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent.
The 12nm Helio P22 chipset fuels the smartphone. It runs Android 9 Pie. It comes in two models – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. There is a hybrid SIM slot on the device that supports a microSD card of up to 256GB.
The rear side of the HTC Wildfire X features a vertical triple camera system with a 12-megapixel primary lens, a secondary 8-megapixel lens with 2x optical zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The cameras come with dual-tone LED flash, 8x hybrid zoom and enhanced low-light photography. The front notch of the phone features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an 86-degree field-of-view
The ‘My buddy’ personal security tool can help in locating the smartphone through a loud alarm and it can be also used to discreetly send your real-time location to friends and family in emergency.
The Wildfire X is packed with a 3,300mAh battery with standard 10W charging. The other features of the Wildfire X include a dual-band microphone, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.
HTC Wildfire X Price, Availability and Launch Offers
The landing page of the HTC Wildfire X on Flipkart states that its 3GB and 4GB RAM variants cost Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,999, respectively. However, for a limited period, both models will be available for Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. The handset is available exclusively through Flipkart and it comes in a Sapphire Blue color only. It will be available for purchase from August 22nd.
Buyers of HTC Wildfire X will be provided with 50 coupons worth Rs 3,750 in the MyVodafone / MyIdea app. Customers will be also provided 0.5GB data per day for 18 months.
With the launch of Wildfire X, HTC has become a new entrant in the competitive mid-range smartphone market. The handset will be competing with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Realme 3 and Samsung Galaxy M20 in the country.
