Amazfit GTS smartwatch with 14-day battery life launched for Rs 9,999

Haumi has introduced a new smartwatch called the Amazfit GTS in the Indian market today. The company also claims that the wearable can last for up to 14 days on a single charge.

Huami Amazfit GTS smartwatch: specifications and features

The Amazfit GTS is equipped with a 1.65-inch AMOLED curved display with a resolution of 348 x 442 pixels and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display offers a pixel density of 341ppi while the watch features 5 ATM water resistance. In addition to this, the Huami Amazfit GTS is equipped with GPS and GLONASS dual positioning, Bluetooth 5.0, and 24-hour heart rate monitoring which issues warnings when an abnormal heart rate is detected.

There are 12 sports modes on offer, including outdoor running, treadmill, walking, cycling, elliptical trainer, pool/open water swimming, mountaineering, trail running, skiing and exercising.

The warnings in 24-hour heart rate monitoring can be received as alerts via the app, while all the recorded data can also be shared. The GTS features six-axis acceleration and displays data like GPS maps, distance, pace, calories, bpm range, altitude, time and more after the user completes any physical activity. Features like a sedentary reminder, calorie consumption and sleep analysis are also included in the package.

Huami Amazfit GTS smartwatch: price and availability

The Huami Amazefit GTS has been launched at a price of Rs 9,999. The wearable will be go on sale via Amazon from October 13th. As of now, the watch is available in a single Obsidian Black shade, but colour options like Steel Blue, Lava Grey, Rose Pink and more will soon be available.
