Huawei FreeBuds 3 with active noise cancellation and Kirin A1 chipset launched for Rs 12,990

Xiaomi recently launched its Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 to take on the likes of the Realme Buds Air in India. Now, yet another Chinese smartphone maker has jumped into the TWS arena in the country to give competition to Xiaomi’s latest launch as well as Realme’s existing product. The latest launch comes from Huawei, which launched its Y9s smartphone in India recently.

Huawei has launched its latest FreeBuds 3 in India with features like Bluetooth 5.1, real-time active noise cancellation, 20-hour battery life and low audio latency. The Freebuds 3 is the world’s first open fit active noise cancellation truly wireless earbuds and was first unveiled in September last year at IFA 2019.

The Huawei FreeBuds 3 come with 4.2mm dynamic drivers and are powered by the Kirin A1 chipset, which is designed by the brand specifically for wearables. The advanced wireless earbuds offer Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology, which facilitates low latency and low power consumption. Speaking of low latency, the FreeBuds 3 boasts of 5ms processing latency and 94 percent Wind Noise Elimination.

There are touch sensors on each earbud to control ANC, music playback and calls. The FreeBuds 3 come in a circular charging case that supports wireless charging, both via wireless chargers and through reverse wireless charging by smartphones that offer this feature. Huawei is offering the Huawei CP61 Wireless Charger with the earbuds for free.

Huawei claims that the FreeBuds 3 can provide up to four hours of playback on a single charge and can deliver up to 20 hours of playback through the charging case. Other features include BL 5.1, BLE 5.1, call noise reduction and bone conduction.

Huawei FreeBuds 3 price in India and availability

The Huawei FreeBuds 3 has been listed on Amazon India with a ‘Notify Me’ option and are scheduled to go on sale starting May 20th. The price of the truly wireless earbuds has been set at Rs 12,990 in India and customers will get the Huawei CP61 Wireless Charger with their purchase.

Huawei offers the FreeBuds 3 in Red, Carbon Black and Ceramic White. Huawei also announced that the customers can opt for no-cost EMI starting from Rs 18 per day on purchase of the FreeBuds 3.
