Huawei FreeBuds 4i TWS earphones have been launched in India today. They are the successor to the Huawei FreeBuds 3i that debuted in the country last year. The Chinese brand has expanded its range of audio devices with its latest offering.
The Huawei FreeBuds 4i were launched in China and the UK earlier this year. The Indian variant comes with the same specifications. The latest earphones also pack significant upgrades over their predecessor. The Huawei FreeBuds 4i will compete with the likes of OPPO Enco X, Nothing ear (1) (review), OnePlus Buds Pro (review) and others in the market.
Huawei FreeBuds 4i specifications and features
The Huawei FreeBuds 4i retain the same in-ear design with a long stem as their predecessor. They are lightweight earbuds and come with built-in capacitive sensors for touch controls. They also feature wear detection support.
On the audio front, the Huawei FreeBuds 4i are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers and a low latency mode for reducing the lag between audio and video. The TWS earphones pack dual microphones combined with beamforming and AI noise reduction technology for accurately picking up human voices in crowded environments. The FreeBuds 4i also feature active noise cancellation and an awareness mode.
The Huawei FreeBuds 4i are claimed to offer up to 10 and 7.5 hours of usage with ANC disabled and enabled respectively on a full charge. Each earbud is backed by a 55mAh battery unit while the oval-shaped charging case houses a 215mAh cell. The latter also increases the battery life up to 22 hours. The earphones support fast charging via a USB-C port.
Connectivity-wise, the Huawei FreeBuds 4i packs Bluetooth 5.2 support and comes with a pop-up and pair feature.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i feature a price tag of Rs 7,990 and is offered in Carbon Black, Ceramic White, and Red Edition colours. The TWS earphones will be available for purchase from Amazon starting October 27th. As a part of Diwali offer, the brand is offering an instant discount of Rs 1,000 till November 5th.
