Huawei teased its upcoming FreeBuds Pro truly-wireless earbuds through a video on its official Weibo account earlier today. The upcoming TWS earphones will be launched in China on September 10th. Now, ahead of the official launch, the FreeBuds Pro have been spotted on multiple certification websites.
The upcoming earbuds have been spotted on the website of Indonesia Telecom, Taiwan’s NCC (National Communications Commission), Bluetooth SIG and TUV SUD certifications. Most of these certifications have the model name listed as Huawei FreeBuds Pro.

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro have been spotted on these certifications with the model number TOOO3/C. The upcoming TWS earbuds will feature a 580mAh battery, which seems to be the capacity of the charging case. Moreover, the charging case will come with a USB Type-C port with support for 10W charging. Unfortunately, these listings do not reveal any other hardware features of the upcoming earbuds. The buds were previously spotted on the EEC website as well.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro specifications and features (expected)
Going by the Pro moniker, we can expect FreeBuds Pro to be an upgrade over the Huawei FreeBuds 3, which were launched earlier this year in May as the world’s first open-fit active noise cancellation truly wireless earbuds. The upcoming FreeBuds Pro are also expected to come with ANC.
As mentioned before, the brand has already teased the FreeBuds Pro in a video earlier, giving us a glimpse at the design. In the video, each earbud can be seen with an array of microphones to aid in active noise cancellation. An earlier leak by WinFuture has revealed the complete design of the FreeBuds Pro in silver, black and white colours. The Huawei Frebuds Pro will also follow the stem-design, but with unique cuboid-shaped steam.
The WinFuture leak also revealed that these noise-cancelling earbuds will feature the Kirin A1 Bluetooth chip, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 52.5mAh battery on each bud.
