There are several reports confirming the arrival of Huawei’s Honor 6X some time in October 2016. The successor to last year’s Honor 5X which was released in November 2015, the Honor 6X will arrive on October 18, according to a Chinese website mtksj.com. Another Chinese website PConline has the phone listed already, revealing most of the key features and technical specifications.
If rumors are to be believed, the Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch screen featuring 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 401 PPI pixel density. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, and Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. It features 32GB internal storage, which supports further expansion up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Honor 6X features a Dual camera setup on the back. The device houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash. The camera supports 1080p video recording at 30fps and comes with features such as face recognition, panorama, smile shutter, burst mode, and HDR. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel front shooter.
The Dual-SIM Honor 6X packs in a 3000mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and GPS. The TENAA-certified phone also has a fingerprint scanner which sits on the back, right below the camera module.
