Huawei Launches Enjoy 9s and Enjoy 9e In China

Huawei has launched two new smartphones in China today. The Enjoy 9s looks identical to the recently launched Nova 4e while the Enjoy 9e is a budget smartphone. Let’s take a closer look at these devices. 

Huawei Enjoy 9s:

On the front, the Huawei Enjoy 9s sports a 6.21-inch Full View display with a waterdrop notch on the top. It bears an FHD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device flaunts a 3D curved glossy finish on the back. It houses a triple rear camera setup and a conventional fingerprint scanner. The Enjoy 9s ships in the three colour variants of Red, Black, and Gradient Blue.

In terms of the hardware, the Enjoy 9s is equipped with the HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor based on 12nm architecture. The device comes in two RAM and storage configurations of 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card. On the software front, the device runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Enjoy 9s features a triple-camera module on the back comprising a 24MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device is fitted with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Huawei Enjoy 9e 

The Enjoy 9e is a stripped-down variant of Enjoy 9s. The device comes with a smaller 6.09-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution. The Gold colour variant of the handset features a leather back cover. It also lacks a fingerprint scanner and instead relies on face unlock feature for security purposes.

Huawei’s Enjoy 9e is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor clocked at 2.35GHz. It packs 3GB of RAM and offers 64GB internal memory expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The device sports a 13MP f/1.8 rear camera with assisted by an LED flash. Up front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies.

The Enjoy 9e runs on a 3,020 mAh battery and is preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

Pricing & Availability:

Huawei has priced the 64GB variant of the Enjoy 9s at 1,499 Yuan (~Rs 15,500) while the 128GB storage version carries a price tag of Yuan 1,699 (~Rs 17,500). The Huawei Enjoy 9e retails at 999 Yuan (~Rs 10,000). The Enjoy 9s will be available starting today while the 9e will go on sale from April 8th in China.
