Huawei Mate 50 Geekbench listing

A new Huawei device with model number DCO-AL00 has appeared in the database of Geekbench. This device is nothing but the vanilla Mate 50. Last month, tipster Digital Chat Station had tipped that the flagship phones in the Mate 50 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chipset.

Qualcomm’s octa-core chip that powers the Mate 50 has four CPU cores working at 2.2GHz, three CPU cores ticking at 2.75GHz, and a prime CPU core clocking at 3.19GHz. The SoC is coupled with Adreno 730 graphics. The CPU information is a bit similar to the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Hence, it appears that the device is powered by the 4G version of the SD8+G1. The same chip is also rumoured to power the Mate 50 Pro and the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design edition.

Coming back to the Geekbench listing, it further reveals that the device has 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS. Like the recent Huawei phones, it will offer a HarmonyOS experience and lack support for Google Mobile Services (GMS). The device scored 1266 in the single-core test and 3938 in the multi-core test of the Geekbench 5.

Huawei MateBook E spotted on TENAA

A few days ago, Huawei confirmed the design of the MateBook E Go. The device, which has a model number of GK-G58, has appeared on TENAA. The listing reveals that the device will carry support for LTE connectivity and run on Windows. It further reveals that the device will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery and two cameras.

The official image of the MateBook E Go shown above confirms that it will be a 2-in-1 detachable notebook with features like a rear camera, stylus support, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will come in white and black colours. The company will also offer a folio keyboard cover to people who wish to buy the MateBook E Go.
