It also has a fingerprint sensor along with its primary camera setup, also located on the back.
Performance and Storage
Underneath the Nova 3’s hood is a flagship-grade octa-core Kirin 970 processor which is built on a 10nm process which ensures high efficiency and better overall performance. The processor is combined together with the Mali-G72 GPU, an i7 co-processor, and GPU Turbo technology all of which mean that performance is expected to be top notch from this phone. On the storage side of things, the latest offering from Huawei will come with 64GB of on-board storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card.
Camera and Software
For the shutterbugs, the phone packs in two dual camera setups, one on each side. The primary setup located on the back comprises of a 16-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 24-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. Both cameras have an aperture of f/1.8. In addition to that, the phone’s software also offers some AI optimizations that can recognize what kind of image you are capturing. It can detect that from over 500 scenes. Up front, in the notch, Huawei has squeezed a 24MP + 2MP combination. This setup will allow for portrait selfies, conventional selfies and even face unlocking. Out of the box, the phone will ship with EMUI 8.2 which is the company’s custom user interface built on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

If you do happen to run out of battery though, the smartphone also supports fast charging through its Type-C port. On the connectivity front, the phone features all the conventional solutions including 2G, 3G, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth.
